Raymond G. Frisby

Raymond G. Frisby, age 65, of McArthur, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, August 12, 2016, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born May 16, 1951 in Athens, Ohio to the late Owen Frisby and Betty Lenegar Frisby.

Raymond was a 1970 graduate of Wellston High School and a former employee of the Pants Factory and General Mills. He enjoyed working in his garden, spending time in the kitchen, walking his dogs and watching his grandbabies grow up.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Billie J. Long Frisby; son and daughter-in-law, Ken and Joni Frisby of Wellston; grandchildren, Caden Frisby and Jolee Frisby, along with several brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Joseph and Florence Lenegar, and his first wife, Virginia Kay Graham Frisby.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Monday at 1 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Travis Potts officiating. In keeping with Raymond’s wishes, cremation will follow the service and burial will be in the Greenlawn Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family.
