Steve Snyder

Steve Snyder, age 60, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, May 15, 2016. He was born June 16, 1955 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Delmar and JoAnn Snyder.

Steve worked many faithful years for D&J Tire of Oak Hill and Best One Tire of Jackson. He loved fishing, hunting, gardening, raising chickens, bowling, listening to country music, watching the Dallas Cowboys (Win or Lose), making people laugh, and spending precious time with family and friends.

Those who remain to cherish his memory include his beloved son, Brian (Tiffany) Lambert; and four beautiful daughters: Becky Snyder, Amanda Bennett, Stephanie Snyder, and Ciera Snyder. He was blessed with 11 wonderful grandchildren: Morgan Lambert, Olivia Lambert, Grant Lambert, Gavin Jonas, Jacob Saunders, Braydon Snyder, Blake Hutchinson, Emma Bennett, Madison Snyder, MaKayla Snyder, and Mallory Snyder. He is also survived by special nephew, Neill Spriggs and six lovely sisters: Shelly (Don) Justice of Wheelersburg, Ohio; Sandy McGhee, Peggy Hill, Patty Rhea, Diane (Don) Spears, and Terry (Joe) Tanner, all of Jackson, Ohio. He was also loved by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and many, many friends. He will be missed but never forgotten.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his only brother, Keith Snyder of Oak Hill, Ohio.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will immediately follow at the funeral home with Rev.
