Kenneth Lee Puckett, age 71, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital in Columbus, Ohio surrounded by his family. He was born January 26, 1945 in Scioto County, Ohio to the late Frank Edward and Alice Marie (Clifford) Puckett. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by four sons: Keith Puckett, Dale Puckett, Tony Puckett, and Franklin (Rayanna) Puckett all of Oak Hill, Ohio; three daughters: Tammy (Dale) Smith and Watika Puckett both of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Diana (Larry) Glass of McArthur, Ohio; three brothers: Robert (Doris) Puckett and Roger (Joyce) Puckett of Oak Hill, Ohio, and Jeff (Sally) Puckett of Dayton, Ohio; two sisters: Joanne (Willie) Cox and Pauline (Don) Comer; 14 grandchildren: Rachael and Dakota Puckett, Heaven Skyi, Courtney and Brian Rawlins, Nicholas and Amber Smith, Trenton Puckett and Mason Hunter, all of Oak Hill, Ohio, Hayley and Elisabeth Glass of McArthur, Ohio, and Tony Jr. and Candice Puckett of Ironton, Ohio; two great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Donna Faye Wedemeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Horeb Cemetery.
