James Franklin Hickman, age 91 of Ray, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016 at the Four Winds Nursing Facility. He was born on April 9, 1924 in Belpre, Ohio to the late S. L. and Ethel (Hendershot) Hickman. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife,Agatha (Harper) Hickman.
Surviving are two sons, John Dale Hickman and James Dean Hickman.
James was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army, attaining the rank of sergeant.
No calling hours will be observed. A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
