Zane Lee Jones passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2015 at the age of 46. He was born February 23, 1969 in Gallipolis, Ohio to the late Robert W. (Jughead) Jones and Rita Elizabeth (Shaffer) Jones. He was a 1987 graduate of Oak Hill High School and attended the University of Rio Grande. He was a devoted husband, loving father and a much cherished person to all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Zane is lovingly remembered by his wife, April (Radune) Jones; daughter, Jantzen Kennedy Jones; brother, Chad Stewart Jones; mother and father-in-law, Frank and Judy Radune; brothers and sisters-in-law, Chad and Missy Radune, Melissa and Mike Humphreys, Summer and John Coleman; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Zane was an active member of the Christ United Methodist Church of Jackson and a member of the Portland Masonic Lodge #366 of Oak Hill. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, January 5, 2016 at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson with Pastor Dave Roach officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
