Kerry Sue Hess

Kerry Sue Hess, age 47, daughter of Mrs. Lois Hess and the late Dr. Fred L. Hess, passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Born and raised in Jackson, Kerry Sue was a graduate of Hope Haven School and attended J-Vac Industries where she participated in the special olympics basketball, track and most recently as a cheerleader for the Trotters. Kerry Sue also worked at the Art in the Heart store in Jackson. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. She brought much joy and love to her friends and family.

She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Lois Hess; her sisters, Mrs. Mary Newcomb and her husband, Mr. Gregory Newcomb, Dr. Kyle Marie Stiffer and her husband, Dr. Alexander Zwil, and Mrs. Kimberly Plummer and her husband, Mr. James A. Plummer IV; her nieces and nephews: Erika and her husband John, Allie, and Jacob Morris, John and Gwen Baraniecki-Zwil, and Rachel and Emmalyn Newcomb; her uncle, Mr. John Hess and her aunt, Mrs. Treva Hess; and her caregiver Pat Creech.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 15, 2015 at the Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson with Diaconal Minister Janie Karl officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call Monday, September 14, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson.
