Brian K. Boggs, age 50, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015 at SOMC of Portsmouth. He was born May 15, 1965 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Elton and Evelyn (Toppins) Boggs.
Brian was a 1983 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He worked at the Goodyear/Meridian plant.
He is survived by his fiancé, Stacy Blanton; his children, Kelli (Lee) Saylor and Brian “Kody” Boggs; three grandchildren, Brody and Brenleigh Saylor and Kenley Boggs; seven brothers: Roger Boggs, Richard Boggs, Ronnie (Roberta) Boggs, Pete (Viola) Boggs, Rod (Peggy) Boggs, Tim (Ruth) Boggs, and Russ (Kathy) Boggs; special aunt, Melba “Pep” Boggs; and special friends: Terry Waddell, Don Brofford, Teresa Arrowood, Greg McDonald, Bill McNelly, Johnny Howell, Mason Bush, Billy Davis, and Mark Hackney.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Boggs officiating. Burial will follow at Boggs Family Cemetery.
