Edith Elizabeth Ferguson

Edith Elizabeth Ferguson, age 85, of Jackson, formerly of Waverly, Ohio, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015 at Pickaway Manor Care Center in Circleville, Ohio.

Edith was born September 16, 1929 in Cyrus, West Virginia to the late Henry and Alice Brown. She was a graduate of Ceredo-Kenova High School, a United States Army veteran, and former employee of the Oil Chemical and Atomic Workers Union.

Edith was a member of Waverly Chapter #99 of the Ohio Eastern Star and dual member of the Royal Chapter in Washington Court House. She was initiated on February 18, 1957 and received her 50-year pin in April 2007.

Edith is survived by her son, Randy Ferguson (LeaAnn) of Jackson, Ohio; daughter, Tina Lallow (Mike) of Portsmouth, Ohio; grandchildren, Jennifer Seimetz (Dan) of Circleville, Ohio, William Ferguson (Rachel) of Jackson, Ohio, and great-grandchildren, Reid Seimetz of Circleville and Grace Ferguson of Jackson; sister, Myrtle Ann Hensley of West Virginia, and several special nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Glen Ferguson; brothers, John Brown, Junior Brown, George Brown, Josh Brown, and Benny Earl Brown; and sisters, Eula Mae Dishman, Jenny Ramey, and Helen Brown.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
