Iona M. (Flack) Myers, age 78, of Oak Hill, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 31, 2015 at Logan Acres Care Center of Bellefontaine, Ohio. She was born August 16, 1936 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Delmar and Carrie (Reed) Flack.
She is survived by her loving children which include her sons, Carl (Lynn) Myers of Jackson, Ohio, James P. (Valeri) Myers of Jackson, Ohio, Michael (Tabatha) Myers of Jackson, Ohio, and John Myers of Oak Hill, Ohio; daughters, Carrie (Dave) Wireman of Roundhead, Ohio, Ruth (Dennis) Walterman of Indiana, and Cathy Fisher of Oak Hill, Ohio; as well as 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond E. Myers and son, David Lee Myers.
Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum funeral home of Jackson on Friday, June 5, 2015 from 11-1 p.m. Funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home at 1 p.m. with Rev. Cline Rawlins officiating. Burial will follow at Saint Johns Cemetery in Jackson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help cover expenses.
