Larry William Nichols, age 53, of Wellston, passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 8, 2015, at the Holzer Medical Center in Jackson. He was born June 10, 1961 in Chillicothe, Ohio to the late Charles Lee Nichols and Phyllis L. Graves Nichols Kimbleton. Larry was a forklift maintenance man at Bellisio Foods in Jackson, where he was employed for 18 years. He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors.
Larry is survived by sister, Brenda Daniels of Wellston; brother, Jim Nichols of Wellston; his companion, Peggy Smith of Wellston; Peggy’s children, Jennifer Smith of Vinton, Jessie Smith of Wellston, Tiffany Smith of Gallipolis, Craig Smith of Wellston and Shawn Smith of Mississippi; grandchildren, Brandon Durham, Jasmine York, Austin York and Braxton Smith; step-children, Nikki Carpenter of Oak Hill and Christy Rippeth of Wellston, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers. Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his sister, Marsha Nichols; brother, Raymond Jeffrey Nichols, and his step-father, Raymond Kimbleton.
Calling hours will be Monday from 2 to 8 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 3 P.M. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Rev. Jim McFadden officiating. Burial will be in the Byer Cemetery.
