Loren “Dean” Savage

Loren Dean Savage, age 74, of McArthur, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2015, at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born February 9, 1941 in Ray, Ohio, son of the late Clarence Savage and Ruth Morris Kaumeyer.

Dean was a 1961 graduate of Allensville High School and a former member of the Ohio National Guard. He retired from the Lennox Company in Columbus, and he enjoyed gardening and the outdoors.

Dean is survived by son, Loren Gene Savage of Columbus; brother, Terry Woltz (Diane) of Ray; sisters, Violet Shaw (Don) of Laurelville, Linda Young of Laurelville and Ruby Sampson of Toledo, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his infant twin brother, Warren Gene Savage; brother, Don Savage; sister, Rosemary Ervin, and brother-in-law, Mick Young.

Graveside service will be Wednesday at 4 p.m. at the Pattonsville Cemetery. Funeral services are under the direction of the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.mcwilliams-funeralhome.com
