Myrna L. (Grant) Hanson, age 89, of Oak Hill and formerly of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2014 at Holzer Health Systems of Gallipolis. She was born June 22, 1925 in Berlin, Ohio to the late Harley and Oma (Gilson) Grant.
She is survived by two sons, Rodney (Debi) Hanson of Chillicothe, Ohio and Bob (Kathy) Hanson of Chillicothe, Ohio; one daughter, Barbara (Dannie) Ruhl of Oak Hill, Ohio; five grandchildren, Christy, Ryan, Brook, Heather, and Brett; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Hanson; grandson, Brandon Ruhl; four brothers, Gilbert, James, Raymond, and Edmond; and one sister, Katherine.
