Larry E. Ousley, age 68, of Wellston, passed away Monday, February 2, 2015, at the Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 23, 1946 in Vinton County, Ohio to the late Clarence and Alma Lightfoot Ousley. Larry was a 1965 graduate of Vinton County High School and was a former sawmill operator. He enjoyed building motors, car racing and was an avid bingo player.
Larry is survived by his wife of 49 years, Catherine Jarvis Ousley; daughters, Angela Ousley of Wellston and Candy Ousley Hart of Wellston; grandsons, Tyler Neff and Jordan Neff, both of Jackson; brothers, Gerald “Buddy” Ousley of Dundas and Tom Ousley of Jefferson, Ga.; sister-in-law, Patty Rice of Wellston, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides his parents, Larry was preceded in death by brothers, Clarence “Junior” Ousley and Robert “Bob” Ousley, and sisters, Irene Ousley and Beatrice “Bea” Spruell.
