John Hale

John Arthur Hale, age 51, of Minford, Ohio, passed away at Southern Ohio Medical Center on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. He was born on July 1, 1963 to Paul Ray “Pete” Hale and Suzanne (Smith) Hale, who survive.

He is also survived by his fiancée, Beth (Troncone) Arthurs; sons, Morgan Hale, Gaven Hale and Stephen Arthurs; daughter, Kiersten Hale; a brother, Jim (Joy) Hale; brother-in-law, Ted Haynes; aunt, Saundra Jones and special friend, Mark Bihl.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Pauletta (Candy) Hale Haynes and Vanessa Hale Kearns; grandparents, Miles and Helen Smith of Waverly, Ohio and Author and Henrietta Hale of Beaver, Ohio.

John was a former employee of Merillat Industries, Walmart Distribution Center and formerly owned his own lawn care and landscaping business. John enjoyed softball with his daughter, Kiersten; was an avid sports fan of baseball, basketball, OSU football, and NASCAR. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Friday, January 23, from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Saturday, January 24 at 1 p.m., with the Reverend Stan Howard officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, Ohio.
