David Allen Whaley

David Allen Whaley, age 51, of Gandeeville, West Virginia, formerly of Jackson, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born on October 21, 1963 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Wilmer Whaley and Virginia (Martin) Whaley Hughes. 

Besides his parents, a brother, Terry Whaley, also preceded him in death.

He is survived by his son, David William McBride Whaley; daughter, Susan Nicole (Joshua Arthur) Baker; his former wife and mother of his children, Eva Joy Bachtel; brothers, Rick Whaley and Kevin (Kathy) Whaley; sisters, Diana (Joe) Rhodes, Brenda (Roger) Rafferty, Cindy (Mike) Perkins and Sue Rigby; grandchildren, Madison, Riley, Keiralee, Jerimah, Andrew and JoeAnna; special nieces and nephews, Haylee, Staci, Roger, Chace and Nathan, along with several others.

David loved fishing and hunting, and spending time with his family.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson, with Rev. John Pelletier officiating. Burial will follow at the Greenlawn Memory Gardens in Coalton. Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home on Sunday, January 18, from 4 to 8 p.m. Arrangements are by the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson.
