Deborah Kay Warren

Deborah Kay Warren, 64, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 28, 2014, at her home. She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, on December 10, 1950, to the late Paul and Zenna Harrison Mershon.

She was a registered nurse, having worked most recently at Maple Hills in McArthur, Ohio. She was also an avid animal lover. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Warren, in 2014, and a brother, Paul Mershon Jr., in 1985.

She is survived by a son and his wife, Matthew and Jennifer Hardin, of Chillicothe, Ohio; a daughter and her husband, Tracey and John Robinson of Wellston; her eight grandchildren she loved, Abigail Hardin, Austin Brown, and McKennah, Cole, Gabby, Hunter, Brice, and Cade Robinson; a sister, Paulette Riley, of Birmingham, Alabama; and nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Wellston on Sunday, January 4, 2015, from 2 p.m. until the time of a memorial service beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor Michael Jadrnicek will officiate the services, and Deborah’s final place of rest will be in the Wheelersburg Memorial Burial Park at a later date.
