Thurman Robert Fyffe, age 72, of Beaver, passed away on Thursday, November 6, 2014. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershal “Tinker” Fyffe and Sylvia Mae (Shumway) Fyffe; his wife, Irene (Stapleton) Fyffe; a son, Robert (Kim) Fyffe; and a daughter, Melinda Davis.
He is survived by his children: Gayla (Ralph) Conley, David (Rhonda) Fyffe, Rhonda Boyd, Lori (Davey) Dunn, Amy Kyle, Eddie (Laura) Davis, Rick (Julia) Davis, Joyce (Rick) Lambert, Susie (Keith) Kuhn, Darlene (Mike) Wyant, Debbie (Dickie) Jarvis and Craig Anderson; his first wife, Janet Cruse; several brothers and sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also a special friend Laura Spencer, Mark Bidwell and Emily Wroten.
Thurman was a master plasterer and a member of Union Local 1275.
Friends will be received at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home in Jackson on Sunday, November 9 from 5 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at the funeral home on Monday, November 10 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Rob Irvin officiating. Burial will follow at Squire Cemetery in Minford, Ohio.
