Cheryle Ann Westenberg, age 56, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, October 1, 2014 at her home. She was born April 4, 1958 in Oak Hill, Ohio to the late Alfred Downey and Shirley (Radcliff) Cooper.
Cheryle was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. One of her greatest joys was attending church at The Kingdom Hall.
She is survived by the love of her life and husband for over 30 years, Michael Westenberg; daughters, Liza (Gabriel) Lujan, Angela (Michael) Lambert, and Beatrice (Creighton) Owens; step-daughter, Bobbi Nickels; grandchildren, Taylor Waugh, Michael Lambert, Brodie Lambert, Trevor Waugh, Isaiah Owens, Bryce Owens, and Marlena Waugh; step-grandson, Alexander Nickels; siblings, Penny Wyatt, Mark (Denise) Cooper, and Charm Cooper; and special nieces, Denise Goheen and Jennifer Goheen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-dad, Wayne Cooper; brother, Sean Cooper; and great-grandson, Noah Waugh.
Friends may call at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 from 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. with Minister Addison Meece officiating. Burial will follow at Campbell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the funeral home to help with the expenses.
