Kenneth Ray Tolliver

Kenneth Ray Tolliver, age 54, was received by a host of Angels out of the ICU at Adena Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio on Thursday October 16, 2014 after an extended illness.

Ken was born January 7, 1960 in Lorain, Ohio, the eldest son of James E. and Ima S. (Hess) Tolliver of Jackson who survive. Also surviving are his children whom he considered his greatest blessings, Ethan R. Tolliver and Kendra L. Tolliver also of Jackson.

Surviving siblings include sister Patricia Tolliver of Wellston, Lenny, Jeff and Ivan Tolliver of Jackson and Jerome Tolliver of Zanesville.

Ken also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

Ken graduated from Firelands High School at Oberlin, Ohio in 1978.

He retired from General Mills in Wellston, Ohio after 27 years of service. An avid hunter, Ken loved being in nature hunting deer, raccoon, squirrel and rabbit, as well as fishing local spots and Lake Erie.

Calling hours will be observed at the Givens Freewill Baptist Church Monday October 20, 2014 starting at 4 P.M. and up until the funeral, officiated by Bro. Charley Ross, at 1 P.M. Tuesday. The church is located at 375 Beaver Pike, Waverly. Funeral is under the direction of the Cox Burkitt Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery, Jackson.
