Thelma Wyant

Thelma Wyant, age 76, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 4, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born August 5, 1937 to the late Willard and Catherine Fassler.

One June 26, 1952, she married the love of her life, Richard Wyant. Thelma retired from Jackson City Schools.

She is survived by two sons, Dicko (Pam) Wyant, Mark (Terri) Wyant; two daughters, Patty (Blaine) Rosenberger, Linda (Tom) Burchett; seven grandchildren, Rich (Sonya) Wyant, Robyn (Jeff) Miller, Mike (Tara) Abrams, Erica (Todd) Riley, Chris Burchett, Kayla Burchett, and Nikki (Scott) Kearns; 13 great-grandchildren, with another due in December; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty Spriggs; as well as a lot of family and friends that she loved, who will miss her so much.

Preceding her in death in addition to her parents was her wonderful husband, Dick; also four brothers, George, Willard, Frank and Don Fassler; two sisters, Ada Fassler and Margaret Davis; and a very special brother-in-law, James (Shake) Wyant.

At Thelma’s request, no viewing will be observed. Graveside services were held on Monday, July 7, 2014 under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson, Ohio. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.lewisgillumfuneralhomes.com
