Geneva Carol Cooper, age 78, of Oak Hill, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014 after a short battle with cancer. She was born March 11, 1936 to the late Walter and Nora (Brofford) Whitt.
She is survived by three sons, Turley (Kay) Cooper Jr. of Oak Hill, Ohio, Brent Cooper (Julie) of Jackson, Ohio, and Harlan (Alice) Cooper of Oak Hill, Ohio; a daughter, Vicki (Dallas) Fairchild of Columbus, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Whitt; and two brothers, Bill Whitt and Bob Whitt, both of Oak Hill, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Turley Cooper Sr.; and two sisters, Francis Brock and Bonnie Freeland.
A funeral service will be held at the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Oak Hill, Ohio on Monday, June 23, 2014 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Scott Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Hill Cemetery.
