George William “Bill” Henry, age 76, passed away Sunday, May 25, 2014 at Heartland of Jackson. He was born in Ironton, Ohio on April 22, 1938. He was preceded in death by his parents, George Howard and Irma E. (Adams) Henry and a sister, Dorothy Henry.
Bill retired after 27 years as an insurance salesman for Western-Southern Insurance and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Judy (Staley) Henry; daughter, Melody Geer; brother, Irvin Henry and one grandson, Matthew Geer.
Funeral service will be held graveside Wednesday, May 28, at Fairmount Cemetery, Jackson, Ohio, at 1 p.m.
Arrangements are by Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home of Jackson.
