Judith Romana (Dennis) George, 85, of Worthington, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at the Laurels of Northworth.
Judy was born in Wellston, Ohio to the late Paul and Frances Ruth (Eberts) Dennis. She was a 1946 graduate of Wellston High School and grew up in Wellston. Judy retired after 33 years of service from Nationwide Insurance Company.
Judy is survived by her loving daughter, Joy Lynn Dye of Columbus; sister, Marian V. (Dale) Rydl of Bellevue, Nebraska; nephews, Paul (Mary) Rydl, Todd (Joanne) Rydl, both of Bellevue, Nebraska, and Dr. Teri Rydl of Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia; great-nephews, Phillip and Mathew Rydl, Zachary Rydl, and Jacob Rydl; great-niece, Lauryn Rydl, all of Bellevue, Nebraska; along with good friend, Kathy (James) Ebersbach.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and several aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Rutherford-Corbin Funeral Home, 515 N. High Street, Worthington. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Dr. Joel Baer officiating. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Ridgewood Cemetery in Wellston, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or to a charity of your choice.
