Araminta Wilt, age 88, of Jackson, Ohio passed away at Four Winds of Jackson on January 31, 2014. She was born October 10, 1925 to the late Frank and Pernetta (Horton) West in Jackson County, Ohio.
She is survived by four grandchildren, Charles, John, Jennifer, and Adriene; seven great-grandchildren, CJ, Shelly, Elizabeth, Sean, Alex, Bella, and Addison; and a niece, Joyce Cook with which she made her home; and several other nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death in addition to her parents is her husband, James Wilt; her son, John; and infant son, Larry; two brothers, John West and George West; and two sisters, Hazel Louderback and Erma Dozer.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 7, at 1 p.m. at Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Wellston.
