Edward F. Jenkins

Edward F. Jenkins, 76, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away on Thursday evening, August 8, 2013, following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Wilkesville Township, Vinton County, on December 27, 1936, to the late Noah and Ethel West Jenkins. He was a graduate of Wilton High School, a self-employed mason, and loved to farm.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Earl Jenkins.

Surviving is his wife, Shirley Canode Jenkins; two daughters, Beth Ann Jenkins (Dennis Grant) of Wellston and Pam Collins (Eugene “Crow” Lambert) of Jackson; one grandson, Shane (Neka) Crabtree of Jackson; and two great-grandchildren, Austin and Raegan Crabtree of Jackson.

Edward requested that cremation follow his passing.

Arrangements are by the Jenkins Funeral Chapel of Wellston.
