Deborah A. Taylor, age 64, of Jackson passed away Sunday, July 14 at SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth. She was born December 17, 1948 to the late Mac and Nina (Stamper) Hughes.
She is survived by her husband, William Taylor; son, William (Tina) McCurry; step-daughter, Beth Ann Phillip; bother, Stanley (Delores) Hughes; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, a brother, Randall Hughes, precedes her in death.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Dobby Wyatt officiating. Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Friends can call from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, at the funeral home.
