Laura Diane Figlestahler, age 42, passed from this Earth on Sunday, June 30, 2013, leaving her family and friends to grieve a soul that never knew a stranger.
Laura leaves behind her father Richard (Joyce) Figlestahler, mother Deanna (Michael) Stroth, both of Jackson, and brothers Douglas (Becky) Figlestahler of Tipp City and Craig (Christine) Figlestahler of Galloway. Also surviving are her aunt Cathy Gillum of Jackson, her uncle Barry Shaffer of Columbus, aunt Georgeann (Randy) Almond of Grove City, step-brothers Christopher (Alicia) Lortz of Lancaster, Rex (Rachel) Stroth of Jackson, step-sister Stephanie (Brad) Patton of Wellston and several cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Laura was preceded in death by her grandparents, Don and Patricia Shaffer, uncle Don Shaffer Jr., uncle Michael Gillum, uncle Daniel Figlestahler, and step-brother Chappy Stroth. She had many friends and will be sadly missed.
A memorial Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jackson on Friday, July 5 at 2 p.m. with Father Joseph Trapp and Father Don Maroon officiating. A private burial ceremony will be held with arrangements by Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home.
