Rev. Nathan Earl Kingrey

Rev. Nathan Earl Kingrey, age 83, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2013 at Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson, Ohio. He was born Feb. 8, 1930 in De Quincy, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan M. and Sophia A. Mitchell Kingrey; and sisters, Earlene Kingrey and Joanna Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Wilda Bean Kingrey; children, Tim (Sheryl) Kingrey, Tresa (Jim) Campbell, Troy (Melissa) Kingrey; two sisters, Lettie (Jim) Abel, Carolyn (Harry) Schneider; seven grandchildren: Lance Kingrey, Emily Kingrey, Josh Campbell, Hannah Campbell, Kylie Kingrey, Jenna Kingrey, and Bethany Kingrey; and one great-grandchild, Brynna Kingrey.

Nathan was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and was pastor of the Jackson Baptist Temple for more than 30 years.

Funeral service will be held at the Jackson Baptist Temple Sunday, June 30, at 3 p.m., where friends and family will be received from 1 p.m. to the time of the service at 3 p.m. Pastor Allen Gibson will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Fairmount Cemetery.
