Penny Colleene (Allen) Newsom, born December 10, 1963 in Oregon, went to be with Jesus on April 7, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Louise Allen; sister, Phylis Louise Allen; and brother, William “Dusty” Ferguson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Fredrick Newsom; daughter, Misty (Kevin) Burchett and son, Kinney (Joanie) Newsom; three grand daughters, Ciera, Kelsey and Jayden Newsom, all of Oak Hill; grandson, Kolten Burchett of Oak Hill; three sisters, Norma “Sis” Jackson of Columbus, Kathy McDonald of Grove City and Mikki Hopper of Oak Hill; two brothers, Sherman of Lancaster and Mike of Ohio; Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Glen Gooldin and many, many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill, OH. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home with Rev. Dave Phillips officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Newsom Family Cemetery.
