William H. Carter, 64 of Jackson passed away Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the Four Winds Nursing Facility. He was born Dec. 5, 1948 in Jackson County, Ohio to the late Harley P. Carter and Pauline M. Shields. He was a 30-year member of the Jackson Nazarene Church and attended Hope Haven and J-VAC Industries.
He is survived by his brothers, Ronnie and Dale Carter, and sisters, Edith Henry and Connie Willis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 3 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Searls officiating and burial to follow in the Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 2, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to J-VAC Industries, 202 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Wellston, Ohio 45692.
