Leota Ruth Cherrington (born May, 14, 1921) married Frank Fred Haas (born May 10, 1920) on Aug. 5, 1944 in a ceremony at the Cherrington family home in Jackson Ohio.
For 68 years they lived together, traveled together and prayed together.
On Nov. 28, 2012 Frank died in Mesa Arizona at the age of 92.
Leota celebrated the holidays with her daughters and welcomed the good thoughts and the prayers of family and friends.
Leota died on March 13, 2013 in Mesa at the age of 91, joining Frank to spiritually continue the travels they always enjoyed together.
They were loved and respected in Jackson Ohio where they lived half of the year and in their Carriage Manor community in Mesa Arizona. Their gentleness and integrity influenced generations of family and friends and their faith comforted and supported them through many earthly struggles.
They live in the memories of all these friends and family members and will continue to be an inspiration.
They were parents to two daughters, Nancy Lee and Fredericka Elizabeth, grandparents to Caleb, Sarah, Shawn and Ezekiel, and great grandparents to Janos and Tashi, Toby and Alira, Zoe and Gabriella.
The family asks that each person touched by the lives of Frank and Lee Haas remember them through a small gift of time or money to your favorite charity. Frank and Lee believed that our lives are honored by making someone else’s life a little easier.
