Dorothy Mae Arbaugh, age 85, of Oak Hill, passed away Monday, March 11, 2013. She was born November 4, 1927 to the late Edward and Sarah (Hackworth) Harrison. She was a member of the Oak Hill Senior Citizen Club. Dorothy attended the First Baptist Church of Oak Hill as well as the Jackson Baptist Temple.
Dorothy is survived by son, Glenn (Nancie) Arbaugh of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Jason Arbaugh, Josh Arbaugh, Twylla Arbaugh, Sarah Arbaugh and Hannah Arbaugh; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Arbaugh, Riley Arbaugh, Ethan Arbaugh, Gavin Arbaugh, and Blake Arbaugh; special great-granddaughter, Rebecca Arbaugh; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Martha Hall from Lucasville.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Gene Harrison, Glendon Harrison, Duke Harrison, and John Harrison.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, March, 15, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill, OH with Rev. Larry Haley officiating. Burial will follow at C.M. Cemetery. Friends may call from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday, March 15, 2013 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oak Hill Senior Citizens Club, 115 Glenncove Rd., Oak Hill, OH 45656.
