James Larry Lloyd, of Patriot, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013 at his residence. He was retired from Gallia Co. Highway Garage. He served in the Army in 1965 as an artilleryman. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, trapping and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Donna (Ruth) Lloyd of Patriot; daughter, Crystal (Ramone) Brigantti of Rineyville, KY; and grandchildren, Donald Carr and R.J. Brigantti.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Jessie (Green) Lloyd; as well as a daughter, Lynn Carr.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill. Burial will follow at the Gallia Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, February 13 at the funeral home.
