Lawrence E. Cline, 71, of Wellston, passed away Thursday, February 7, 2013, at Edgewood Manor of Wellston. The son of Henry and Betty Baumann Cline, he was born October 25, 1941, at Columbus, Ohio. Larry was a veteran of the Marine Corps and was a member of Wellston Post 371 of the American Legion as well as Wellston Post 9092 of the V.F.W.
In 1965, Verna Thompson married Larry at Las Vegas; she survives along with their daughters, Danielle Cline and Paris Wilson, both of Wellston. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jordan Wilson, Kessa Johnson, Nicole Rupert and Christopher Cline; a great-grandchild, Brendon Cline; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Other survivors include his brothers, John (Carman), Gary and Dale (Debbie) all of Wellston, and Roger (Barbara) of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his father, Henry; sister, Virginia; and a daughter, Lorie Kelley.
There will be no calling hours or service. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Huntley & Cremeens Funeral Home of Wellston.
