Robert L. Shannon, age 59, of Thurman, Ohio, passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Holzer Medical Center of Jackson. He was born August 17, 1953 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late Walter and Lucille Finny Shannon.
He is survived by his wife, Yulondia Maynard Shannon; son, Robert Shannon Jr.; daughters, Michelle Muncy of Lucasville, Angela Shannon of Wellston and Gena Shannon of Thurman; brother, Walter Shannon of Columbus; sister, Lillian Caudill of Jackson; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Harr officiating and burial to follow in the Hillside Chapel Cemetery in Jackson.
