Patsy Joanne Lemon, age 78, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Heartland of Jackson. She was born May 10, 1934 to the late Harry and Julia Thompson. She was married to the late Edgar B. Lemon in August 1955. Patsy was an active and faithful member of the Jackson First Church of the Nazarene.
Patsy is survived by three children; Gary (Kathy) Lemon of Jackson, Hazel (Kevin) Rader of Beaver and Stan (Brenda) Lemon of Jackson. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, one brother and one sister.
Along with her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar B. Lemon; one granddaughter; one brother and five sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 19 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson with Rev. Wayne Searls officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, January 18 at the funeral home.
