Jeanette Ray Stewart, age 74, of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2012. She was born to the late Earl and Mary Ray on June 10, 1938.
Jeanette grew up in Coalton, Ohio, where she graduated high school on May 17, 1956 and married the late Richard W. Stewart on August 24, 1955.
Jeanette devoted her life to her faith and her children. She was a caring and loving mother who never missed one of her children’s events, from baseball and softball games to boy scouts and summer camps, Jeanette always put her children’s needs before her own. She was a woman of strong faith and high moral values and ensured those values were instilled in her children.
Surviving are children, Robert (Anne) Stewart, of Grove City, Wes (Joely) Stewart, of Surfside, TX, Phillip (Shandrel) Stewart, of El Paso, TX and Desira Stewart, of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren; and a great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her grandson, Bobby Stewart.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2012 in the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Norman officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware’s from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
