Donna Rulene (Rider) Sickles, 65, of Sour Run Road, Wellston, Ohio, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born October 10, 1947, in Waverly, Ohio to the late Arthur and Darlene Rider.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by brothers, Ronnie Rider and Larry Rider, sister, Brenda Rider, and great granddaughter, Kaydence McKinlee Merrill.
She is survived by her loving husband, Ronald Sickles, whom she married August 17, 1967; son, Donnie Sickles of Wellston; daughter, Rhonda (Brian) Moore of Jackson; granddaughters, Ashley (Josh) Merrill and Lindsey Landrum of Jackson; great granddaughter, Addison Paige Merrill; brother, Russell (Jerrie) Rider of Chillicothe; and sisters, Janice (Greg) Kubiak, Chris Rider and Eva (Gary) Stephens of Waverly.
Donna enjoyed crafts, sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting and working in her flower garden.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Friday, December 28, from 4 – 8 p.m., where funeral services will be Saturday, December 29, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Jim Harper officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
