Kathy L. Allen Mullett, age 57, of Beaver Creek Rd., Piketon, Ohio, went to be with our Father in Heaven on December 6, 2012. She was married in 1976 to the love of her life, Verlon Mullett, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jason (Gwendolynn) Mullett, of Oak Hill, Ohio and Gary (Tara) Mullett, of Piketon, Ohio, eight grandchildren, her joys in life, James, Wesley, Macy, Johnathan, Tatem, Emily, Gary Jr., and Clayton, two sisters, Sandra (Roger) McKee and Paula (Bill) Childers, both of Piketon, Ohio, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and in-laws.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Havens Allen, her father, Paul Luther Allen, one daughter, Shelby Lee Mullett, one granddaughter, Elizabeth Mullett, her mother-in-law, Martha Mullett and her father-in-law, Simon Mullett. Kathy was a 1973 graduate of Piketon High School and was a homemaker. She loved her family very much and felt truly blessed to have all eight of her grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m.Sunday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. James H. Mullett officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery in Piketon, Ohio. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
