Joseph H. Ray II, age 76, of Ray, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Columbus, Ohio April 24, 1936 to the late, Joseph H. and Mary Helen (Carpenter) Ray. He retired from Wearever Aluminum and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for 60 years.
He is survived by sons Greg Ray of Ray, Ohio and Joe Ray III of Columbus, Ohio; daughter Catherine Ray of Florida.
In addition to his parents, he preceded in death by wife, Rita (Parrish) Ray.
Funeral service 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Jackson, with Diaconal Minister, Janie Karl officiating. Burial to follow in Ray Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the funeral home.
