Blanche Mae Farney, age 56, of Oak Hill, passed away suddenly at her home on Tuesday, October 30, 2012. She was born in Gallipolis, Ohio, July 27, 1956 to the late John Farney and mother Betty (Hatfield) Farney of Oak Hill.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by sister, Beverly Farney of Oak Hill; brother, Joe (Kim) Farney of Reynoldsburg; and special nieces and nephews, Christina (Dave) James of Marysville, Rhonda (Dan) Coddington of North Lewisburg, Ohio, Sarah Kosicki of Bowling Green, Jonathan of Lewis Center and Matthew Farney of Reynoldsburg.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by nephew, Andrew Farney and niece, Elizabeth Farney.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, November 2, 2012 at the Evangelical Community Church in Oak Hill with Rev. Stan Howard officiating and burial to follow in Gallia Baptist Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home in Oak Hill.
