Hollis (Buddy) Oliver, 69, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012. He was born December 26, 1942 in Jackson, Ohio, to the late Henry and Gladys McNerlin Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Helen Oliver; daughter, Brenda Stewart; brothers, Joe Henry Oliver and Robert Oliver; and sisters, Joanne Linton and Violet Cain.
He is survived by sons, Billy Oliver and Hollis Edward Oliver Jr.; daughters, Betty Harman and Carol S. Grubb; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Pearl Oliver and Ronald Oliver; sister, Glenda Yinger of Jackson, Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Monday, September 24, 2012 from 11 a.m. to the time of service at 1 p.m. with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating and burial to follow in the Horeb Cemetery, Oak Hill, Ohio.
