Johnnie F. Collins, age 75, of Wellston, Oh., passed from this life into his Heavenly home on Sunday, September 9, 2012 at the Holzer Medical Center ER in Jackson, Oh. He was born September 12, 1936 in Maysville, Kentucky, where he resided most of his life, to the late Harvey Duke Collins and Dorthea Godbey Collins.

Johnnie was the manager of the Blue Jay Car Wash in Aberdeen, Oh. for 30 years. He moved to Wellston, Oh. five years ago and was a member of the Freedom Chapel and an honored friend of The Church on the Move, both in Wellston.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Menix Williams Collins of Wellston; son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Collins of Batavia, Oh.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and Mike Sams of Martin, Tennessee and April and Maurice Waugh of Alabaster, Alabama; six grandchildren, Tyler, Garret and Ryan Sams, Zachary Brammer and Parker and Max Waugh; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Bud Wooten of Grayson, Kentucky; five step-daughters and sons-in-law, Diana and Bob Devlin of Jackson, Oh., Mary and Jim Burris of Carrollton, Oh., Debbie and Leonard Burris of Jackson, Oh., Sheila and Brad Benson of Wellston, Oh., and Tonya and Tony Faught of Jackson, Oh.; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmie and Betty Laney of Louisa, Kentucky and Butch and May Williams of Guam; nieces, Christa and Jennifer, as well as 12 step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and many cousins and friends.

Besides his parents, Johnnie was preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Parker Collins and his second wife, Mary Helen Poe Collins. Calling hours will be Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home in Wellston. Funeral service will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the McWilliams Funeral Home with Pastor Perry Bradford officiating.
