William G. “Bill” Malone, age 84, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2012 at Four Winds Nursing Facility, Jackson. He was born in Wellston, Ohio, on June 1, 1928. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Jessie (Collins) Malone, six brothers and four sisters.
He was the owner of Malone’s Auto Body Shop and enjoyed walking the streets of Jackson.
He is survived by one sister, Ruby Mullins of Jackson, several nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home Friday, August 24, from 4 to 8 p.m., where funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 25, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jack Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Ridgewood Cemetery, Wellston.
