Juanita K. Loftis, age 83, of Jackson, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe. She was born in Jackson, Ohio on July 26, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Loftis, her parents, Kathryn and Fred Altherr, and two sisters, Ruby Jean and Helen Claire Altherr.
Juanita graduated from Jackson High School. She lived her married life in Indiana and Montana. She moved back to Jackson in 1999.
She is survived by one daughter, Becky Campbell; one son, Bill Loftis and daughter-in-law Yenny; two grandchildren, Patty Ann Rodriquez and Michael Loftis (wife, Ransom); one great-granddaughter, Mikayla; two sisters, Polly Cavey (husband, Pete) and Shirley Howell; and one brother, Fred Altherr.
Memorial services will be held at the Trinity Chapel Church in Jackson on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bob Jones officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home.
