Ethel M. Ewing, age 77, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Four Winds Nursing Facility in Jackson. She was born August 7, 1934 in Franklin County, Ohio to the late Herbert H. and Atta Stover Hageman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 52 years, Stanley Ewing; brothers and sisters, Peggy Wiseman, Janette Honaker, Florence Hageman and Jimmy Hageman.
She is survived by children, James S. and Sandra Ewing of Jackson, Debra S. and Walter Hamblin of Marion, Ronald L. and Kathy Ewing of Wellston, Teresa A. Edwards of Coalton, Daniel L. and Debrah Ewing of Marion and David L. and Loretta Ewing of Jackson; sister, Darlene Hageman; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Russ Strange officiating and burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery. Friends may call from 11 a.m. up to the time of the funeral.
