Phyllis Mae Christman, age 63 of Jackson passed away Friday July 13, 2012, at Heartland of Jackson. She was born May 5, 1949 in Jackson to the late Philip and Betty (Canter) Kanouse. She was a homemaker and a graduate of Jackson High School and Manpower Culinary Institute.
She is survived by by two sons, David and Anthony Jackson and two daughters, Nikki and Lori Crabtree; brothers, William R., and Tolby D. Markham; four sisters, Phila (Kanouse) Wilbur, Ricketta (Kanouse) Shoemaker, Sherry (Markham) Tatman, Madaline (Markham) Moyers, stepmother, Betty Kanouse; 11 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by sister, Robin (Kanouse) Carroll.
A private service will be conducted by the family.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the funeral home for her funeral expenses.
