Bonnie Kay Skeens, age 62, of Waterloo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Cornerstone Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. She was born April 12, 1950 to the late Thomas and Lottie Louise (Canter) Hughes. Bonnie loved flowers, gardening, vacationing at the beach and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her one true love, Gary Owens of Waterloo; two daughters, Kimberly (Charles) Jarrett of Pedro and Lisa (Mike) Wills of Crown City and one son, Carl (Johnett) Skeens of Patriot; grandkids, William Caplinger, Jr., Candace Caplinger, Jessica Skeens, Alec Skeens, Jeryl Ross, Laykin Ross and Ryan Ross; great-grandkids, Delila Ross, Jaelyn Caudill, Xzavier Ferguson and Joshlyn Caplinger, and Maddie Creames.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at the Lewis-Gillum Funeral Home (formerly Kuhner-Lewis Funeral Home), 202 Maple Ave., Oak Hill, Ohio 45656, phone 740-682-6696) with Pastor Robert Dudding officiating and burial will follow in Monroe Cemetery.
