1952 graduate Jim Metzger to serve as Toastmaster

The 2012 Jackson High School Alumni Committee will be welcoming 1952 graduate Jim Metzger as their toastmaster this year. After graduation Jim attended Ohio Wesleyan and then went to the United States Army for two years. After that he attended graduate school at the Episcopal Seminar of Virginia. He then started 35 years of preaching at in Rochester, Cincinnati, and St. Louis.

Jim and wife Hope reside in Cincinnati and are the parents of three adult children. Jim holds memberships at the Ridge Country Club, The Indoor Tennis Club, Knox Presbyterian Church, Sons of the Colonial Wars (Chaplain), The American Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and the Hearing Speech & Deaf Center, among others.

Jim’s hobbies include tennis, Jogging, reading and hanging out at the Echo (Hyde Park), and the Village Kitchen (Mariemont).

Mr. Metzger will keep the honored alumni and guests entertained as he introduces those giving toasts at the 2012 Alumni Program on Saturday, May 26 at 5:45 p.m. in the Jackson Middle School auditorium.
