Danielle Green Dulaney will present 25 year toast at Jackson Alumni Banquet

Danielle Green Dulaney, a 1987 Jackson High School graduate will give the 25 year toast to her class and alumni on Saturday, May 26 at the Alumni Program. The program will start at 5:45 p.m. in the auditorium at Jackson Middle School.

Dulaney is celebrating 25 years out of school with her classmates. Danielle attended Kinnison School, Jackson High School and received a B.S. in Secondary English Education from the University of Rio Grande and earned her Master’s Degree from the University of Vermont.

Danielle has been involved in many aspects of education over the last 20 years working mainly with at-risk youth. Danielle’s career in education was launched as an Assistant Director of Admissions at the University of Rio Grande and then on to the classroom at Jackson High School as a classroom teacher of a school to work program. As Danielle headed to north to Vermont served as an after school Program Director, teacher of parenting teens at an Alternative School, and then served as a drug and alcohol counselor. Danielle is quite passionate about bridging the gap between schools and homes, creating social equity, and student successes.Upon returning to her Ohio home in Jackson in July, 2011 she has experienced the delight of traditions, familiarity, and family.

Danielle and her15-year-old daughter, her fluffy dog, and the world’s fattest cat, reside on Jisco West Road in Jackson and are enjoying life to the fullest. Danielle takes pleasure in the simplest of things such as cooking and gardening.
